While the servants are clearing away the dinner plates at Orange Monkey Hall, Mr Monkey dons his smoking cap, goes to his booklined study, and creates a fire hazard with his pipe.

Mr Monkey's smoking cap was made from some nice fabric on a card former, with a tassel made from thread. The gold braid was from somewhere else. Something Eastery, probably. Mr Monkey's pipe was a gift from his good friend Fred in Hoofddorp.
