In late October 2001, the House of the Orange Monkey was visited by our friend Katarina from Stockholm, who, on her return to Sweden, left not only a copious supply of delicious chocolate, but also an elk (or moose). As the elk (or moose) is from Sweden, he is known as Herr Älg (when we remember).

As yet, it has proved impossible to persuade Mr Cat that elks (or mooses) are not domestic animals, and may not be tamed. Mr Cat persists in attempting to ride Herr Älg regardless of the fact that every attempt so far has resulted in a flying cat.
