Mr Monkey in Newcastle, 1st December

"That's the smallest type of ship the Navy has"

Mr Monkey watching the Millennium Bridge turn over Mr Monkey watching a Royal Navy patrol boat go under the Millennium Bridge

A little after Mr Monkey had crossed the bridge, some sirens went off and the bridge began to fall over on its side. P164, HMS Explorer, sailed under the open bridge and moored up at HMS Calliope, the Naval Reserve Training Establishment. HMS Explorer is a P2000 patrol vessel used by the Yorkshire University Royal Navy Unit, based in Hull, and can have guns fitted if it's invited to a war.

You can read about the P2000 class patrol boat at the Royal Navy website.
