Before leaving the Copthorne Hotel Mr Monkey popped out onto the quayside in front of the hotel. As he'd spent some time on Friday night on the steps outside the hotel, waiting to find out if there really was a fire, Mr Monkey was intrigued by the decoration above the central door. After quickly checking his humans hadn't left anything in his room, he let them check out, and set off into Newcastle.
