Mr Monkey in Seattle, 29th January

"It's a fairly nice bridge, really"

Mr Monkey scampered onto the Montlake Bridge. This is a 344 foot long two leaf bascule bridge over the Montlake Cut section of the Lake Washington Ship Canal. The architect, Carl F Gould, designed the control towers to match the architecture of the University. Mr Monkey paused for a moment to look at the ship canal ending in the lake.
