Mr Monkey visits the Olympic Sculpture Park, 1st February

"These are a bit lumpy, and now it's time to go"

On the path down to the exit, Mr Monkey met some sculptures by Tony Smith. The smaller pieces were called Wandering Rocks, though they didn't wander much when Mr Monkey looked at them, and, further down, Stinger. They're all made of steel painted black and, like all the sculptures in the park, can stand out in the weather but can't be touched by humans. When he'd gone past the Stinger Mr Monkey realised his humans were hungry again, so he scurried off into Seattle to find some food. And after that he went back to the hotel to sleep.

You can read about Tony Smith at the Artnet website.
