The top floor of the Beacon, a multi-storey museum of Whitehaven history, is the Met. Office Weather Gallery. One of the displays allows visitors to pretend to be a TV weatherperson. Mr Monkey proved to be a natural.
The camera angle on the left picture is a little odd, because the the TV monitor is above head height.
