Mr Monkey sees the Pivotal Decade at the CAC, 29th June

"Someone should paint something like this about London, you know"

Mr Monkey started his own tour of the exhibition by looking at Victoria City I and Victoria City II by Shieh Ka-Ho Wilson, who found the last ten years' social changes "just frustrating". The two ink on silk paintings show the buildings of Hong Kong's financial and business district (originally called Victoria City) as slightly odd fashion plates.

You can read about Shieh Wilson at the Magical Secrets website.
