Mr Monkey changed trains at Canada Water and took the East London Line (which he approves of because it's drawn in orange on the tube maps) to Wapping. He ran along Wapping High Street to the Captain Kidd pub where he was to meet his friends Mr Mike from Australia and Ms Mitchy. He wasn't that impressed by the outside of the pub, but decided he liked the beer garden and the rather nice restaurant upstairs. And when they'd all talked and eaten and it had got dark, Mr Monkey caught the tube back into town.
