Mr Monkey started his tour of the actual house in the storehouse, which was originally an independent building behind the main house. It's been restored and filled full of the sort of things that 17th century people kept in their store rooms. After he'd inspected the stores Mr Monkey went into the cold room, where the food was kept. Because food doesn't keep very well without a freezer, the cold room is full of replica meat and game and cheese and eggs.
