Mr Monkey scampered along the path between the wall and the stands of bamboo. The path was a tobiishi, made of stepping stones set in gravel, and Mr Monkey made sure his humans kept on the big stones. He admired the white pine trees, and wondered which Bhuddist deity the Butsuzou was representing.
