Mr Monkey trotted along a street called the Dijver. Because it was a Sunday, there was a flea market beside the canal. Mr Monkey examined the different things for sale, then walked on and looked at the houses on the other side of the canal. The market would have been there if Mr Monkey had visited on the Saturday, too, but not on weekdays.
