Mr Monkey got a good view of the tower of the Church of Our Lady as the boat chugged along the Dijver. After going under the small bridge between the Gruutehuse and the Groeninge Museum he admired the outer wall of the St Janshospitaal building and wondered again why the people of Bruges built so close to the canals.
