"It's a fairly fine statue"

Arriving in Gough Square Mr Monkey worked out which house was Dr Johnson's when he spotted the plaque on the front. Before scampering up to the house he examined a statue of Hodge, Dr Johnson's cat. Dr Johnson claimed that Hodge was "a very fine cat, a very fine cat indeed" and fed him on oysters.

You can read about the house at the Dr Johnson's House website.
