Mr Monkey visits the London Wetlands Centre, 3rd October

"A bronze swan can easily break your arm with one topple, you know"

Mr Monkey knew he'd arrived at the London Wetlands Centre when he came to a bridge over a pond. A little way past the bridge he found a statue of Sir Peter Scott being bothered by an annoyed swan. Sir Peter founded the Severn Wildfowl Trust which later became the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, the organisation that runs the London Wetlands Centre.

You can read about the Centre at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust website.
