Mr Monkey visits the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion, 4th October

"Well, it's a bit like rigging"

Mr Monkey found that the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion for 2007 was a sort of lop-sided helter-skelter, designed by Olafur Eliasson (who devised the artificial sun at the Tate Modern in 2003) and Kjetil Thorsen. Mr Monkey started up the ramp, but stopped to investigate the cables between the upper and lower twists of the ramp. He wasn't sure if they made him feel behind bars or on a sailing ship.

You can read about the Pavilion at the Serpentine Gallery website.
