Before he set off home Mr Monkey passed the front of the building again. He stood at the top of the steps and looked down at the canal basin, which is linked to the Rochdale Canal and was put in when the Bridgewater Hall was built, and at the side of the Hall. He scurried down the steps to the canal side, and wondered what it would be like to arrive at a concert by boat. Potentially damp, he thought.
