The first thing Mr Monkey noticed was Grant Braithwaite's salad bowl, largely because it wasn't very silver. Grant's salt and pepper dish were more silvery, though they include porcelain too. Then Mr Monkey looked at Shimara Carlow's hand raised small bowls, which are gold plated on the inside and treated with acid to make the silver white on the outside.
