Mr Monkey in London, 12th January

"I think it's safe enough if you pay attention"

Shibboleth is a crack in the floor of the Tate's Turbine Hall, running from the front doors down to the rear wall. It was put there by Doris Salcedo and somehow represents racism. Mr Monkey inspected it carefully, and dangled Mr Rik's camera into the chasm to see what it looked like from inside rather than climbing in himself. He didn't fall in, and he couldn't see any children falling in either.

You can read about Shibboleth at the Tate website.
