Mr Monkey at the National Railway Museum, 26th February

"This one is shiny and green too"

On the other side of the platform Mr Monkey examined a London and South Western M7 0-4-4T tank engine, built in 1897. Then he looked over the Tri-composite Brake Carriage behind it. This carriage has First, Second and Third class compartments for passengers, and a brake compartment for the guard. And there's a lavatory, too. None of the compartments are very big, though.

You can read about the M7 at the Southern Railway Email Group (SREmG) website.
