Mr Monkey in Rotterdam, 26th March

"It's an odd place for a lighthouse"

Mr Monkey looking at the Maritime Museum Mr Monkey looking at the Arminuis

On the quay, Mr Monkey paused to look at the Maritime Museum and wondered if the lighthouse outside it was real. He trotted along Witte de Withstraat and only stopped to admire the Remonstrant church, designed by Evers who also designed the town hall. It's a cultural centre now named the Arminius after Jacobus Arminius, whose work inspired the Protestant Remonstrant sect.

You can read about the museum at the Rotterdam Maritime museum website.
