Mr Monkey trotted up to Gallery 3, which was showing an exhibition of Dutch entrants to the Europan 9 competition. This is a competition held every two years for architects and urban designers aged under 40, asking them to design developments for four sites in the Netherlands. Mr Monkey examined lots of plans, videos and computer projections, but was rather puzzled by the odd trees in one of the models.
You can read about the Dutch part of the Europan competition at the Europan Nederlands website and about Europan in general at the Europan Europe website.
