From the sitting room Mr Monkey trotted into the dining room. The table was equipped with buttons to call the staff, and there was a concealed sink just in case some crockery needed washing up before it could be taken into the kitchen next door. The cupboards are red because only the staff should open them. Mr Monkey went into the kitchen to admire the state of art (for 1933) cooking equipment.
