Mr Monkey trotted to the end of the corridor to look at Mr and Mrs Sonneveld's bedroom. Mr Monkey was impressed by the shiny bronze colour of the walls and by the fact that there were two telephones. One was an internal phone for calling servants, while the other was for external calls. He was also surprised to find a tray that folded out of the wall outside the door, for the morning tea to be left on.
