"There are five trees, really there are"

Before he left Castle Park, Mr Monkey looked down onto the river, and watched a ferry sailing from Temple Meads towards the city centre. Then he had a look at five silver birches planted to commemerate D-Day, one for each of the five landing beaches (one of the trees is a bit tiny relative to the others).
