Mr Monkey's Bristol boat trip, 6th June

"It is a little perturbing, you know"

Mr Monkey passed the Pride of Bristol, an ex-Royal Navy training vessel which is used to take young people on character building training exercises. A little further on the Taurus turned around in front of the lock between the Floating Harbour and the Cumberland Basin. If it hadn't, Mr Monkey would have ended up on the river Avon. He was a little worried that there didn't seem to be any gates in the lock, but decided that it must have been because the tide was so high.

You can read about the Pride of Bristol at the Pride of Bristol Trust website.
