Mr Monkey in Portsmouth, 29th August

"I'm slightly surrounded by dampness"

As Mr Monkey scurried along to Southsea he had the sea on his right and a moat on his left. The moat, and the long curtain wall above it are all that's left of Sir Bernard de Gomme's refortification of Portsmouth in 1680. Later in the evening Mr Monkey's humans got hungry again, so he took them along Osborne Road for a tasty Greek meal at Steki.

You can read about the restaurant at the Steki website.
