Mr Monkey waited outside a small door beside a cafe for a little while, then was led into the Great Rutland Cavern. This was open to the public as long ago as 1812, though it was called the Nestor Mine then. He scurried along a 240 foot long passage, examining the minerals in the walls on the way until he arrived in a very large cavern.
