Mr Monkey had a ride on Carnesky's Ghost Train, which went faster and was more scary than it had been when he'd ridden it in Brick Lane. Then he looked at some more showfronts which were just being used for display, and left the Circus of Wonders. The Circus of Wonders was organised by Vanessa Toulmin of the National Fairground Archive, Mark Copeland of the Insect Circus, and Jon Marshall, and Mr Monkey was very glad they'd taken the time to do so.
You can read about the ghost train at the Carnesky's Ghost Train website, the National Fairground Archive at the University of Sheffield website, the Insect Circus at the Insect Circus website, and Jon Marshall at the Wolverhampton Circle of Magicians website.
