Mr Monkey visits Ten Duinen 1138, 18th September

"They used less metal and sheet glass in the 12th century, you know"

Mr Monkey led his humans up the road from the tramstop until he arrived more or less where the Abbey of the Dunes used to be. He quickly noticed that the Ten Duin 1138 museum had been designed to look largely like a medieval building. He found a 4-metre high monk, made by William Sweetlove, welcoming visitors. Another two monks lurk on the site and a fourth monk is somewhere in Koksijde.

You can read about the museum at the Ten Duinen 1138 website and about William Sweetlove at the William Sweetlove Tabloid deluxe website.
