On his way back to the railway station Mr Monkey stopped to inspect the lock-gates separating Bruges' canals from the Minnewater. He trotted back through the Minnewater Park and crossed the Barge bridge. He went past the new modern bus shelter to the station, and caught the next train to Ostende.
