As soon as the train stopped Mr Monkey led his humans out of the nearest door and onto the platform. He considered scampering to the end of the platform to look at the locomotive, but realised it was a long way and the train could set off at any moment. So he just watched the train leave. Then he went out of the station, crossed a road and scampered along beneath the medieval walls of York.
