On the way back from the invisible Mermaid, Mr Monkey crossed the Amalienborg Plads, which is where the royal family live. It was dark, and the statue of Frederick V loomed a bit. The Strøget was much brighter, with all the Christmas lights on.
When he went to Dublin in November 2003, Mr Monkey found that Grafton Street reminded him of the Strøget.
