Mr Monkey was pleased to see that The John Rylands Library was clearly and permanently labelled. He admired the front door with its carved archway, but couldn't help noticing that the doors were shut, and the gates were locked. The main entrance is only used for special occasions (which, it seems, doesn't include a monkey dropping in on a whim) but there is a useful sign instructing visitors to go round to the side entrance.
You can read about the Library at the University of Manchester website.
