Mr Monkey scampered back to the west entrance of the Deansgate tunnel, and went through the tunnel. He decided that he probably enjoyed going though a 78 yard tunnel that had a towpath and some lights that change colour a lot more than he would have enjoyed going through the original 336 yard tunnel, which didn't have a towpath or any lighting.
