Mr Monkey clambered aboard a Southport train at Manchester Piccadilly. Peering out of the window on the way he admired the floral decoration at Hindley station (just outside Wigan), maintained by the Friends of Hindley Station. A short while later he was trundling through the outskirts of Southport. On arrival, he jumped out and headed for the Southport Lawnmower Museum.
