The Pleasure Beach tramstop was being used as the starting point for rides through the Illuminations on 'heritage' trams, and Mr Monkey was delighted to find the Santa Fe illuminated tram taking passengers on board. This is, it turned out, Miss Carol's favourite illuminated tram. Mr Monkey studied the tram for a while, then remembered he had a table booked at a restaurant and scampered to the next tramstop. While he was waiting for an ordinary tram, the Santa Fe trundled past him.
