Mr Monkey visited Sir John Soane's Museum in Lincoln's Inn Fields. This seems to be bigger inside than it should be, and it was full of so many paintings and statues and everything that Mr Monkey almost didn't know where to look. He really enjoyed himself but wasn't allowed to take pictures inside, so he posed in front of some postcards when he got home, to give a bit of an impression of what it's like. You'd get a better impression by going there yourself.

In December 2003, Mr Monkey visited another building designed by Sir John Soane, the Dulwich Picture Gallery.
