Because Mr Rik couldn't find a bus outside Kilmainham Gaol, Mr Monkey scampered down a hill and found himself in the Islandbridge Memorial Park, where a memorial by Lutyens commemerates the 49,400 Irish dead from the Great War. Then, as he was crossing the Liffey, he noticed the Wellington Monument, a big pointy thing in Phoenix Park.
