Mr Monkey went upstairs to the Discovery Centre's Science Maze. Amongst all the other things he discovered a blue screen camera thing where bits of you are superimposed on film of Tyneside (we're not sure why, either). Mr Monkey is actually being held by Mr Rik, not floating above a lighthouse, but the magic of the camera has made Mr Rik invisible!
Mr Monkey also found a strange wall, coated with a surface that 'remembers' shadows after a light has been flashed on it. By the time the picture was taken, Mr Monkey was long gone.
