On the way back to his hotel, Mr Monkey found a lot of people selling books under an arch of Waterloo Bridge, and, in the street next to the hotel, a closed underground station. This used to be the Aldwych station, until it became the Strand. Whatever it was called, it was one of the least popular underground stations in London, except with people who make films.
