Mr Monkey crossed the road and went into Ripon Cathedral. They're working on the roof, and have put some kind of plastic sheeting up, so the front looks oddly square. If you look carefully at the crossing at the end of the nave, you can see that the pillar on the left is different from the pillar on the right, and that the arch doesn't connect properly. This is because an earthquake damaged the original crossing, and they never finished replacing them
