Mr Monkey at Eltham Palace and Hampton Court

"There's some fine woodwork here"

At 17 Fleet Street, Mr Monkey trotted up spme stairs to see Prince Henry's Room. This gets its name because the plasterwork ceiling has a P H and the Prince of Wales feathers as decoration. The building it's in was built as a tavern in 1610, but part was used as a waxworks from 1795 to 1816. Because Samuel Pepys used to come and drink in this room, there's an exhibition about him.

You read about Prince Henry's Room at the Corporation of London website.
