Mr Monkey in Toronto, October 11

"Apparently all the hippies grew up"

Mr Monkey on Yorkville Avenue Mr Monkey with some trees on Bay Street

Leaving the Royal Ontario Museum, Mr Monkey scampered off to have a look round Yorkville. Yorkville was a village outside Toronto until, in 1853, it had the dubious honour of being the first village incorporated into the City of Toronto. In the 1960s, Yorkville was where the hippies of Toronto lived; now it's full of posh shops, and trees surrounded by concrete rings.
