The Aero Car is supposed to be the best place to see the whirlpool that forms at the point where the river realises it's going in the wrong direction. It's not really a whirlpool, though. Both ends of the cable are in Canada, but a tiny part of the journey is technically in American airspace. When the Aero Car gets to the other side, all the passengers swap sides, and the car sets off back to the starting point.
