Mr Monkey at Tavistock Square

"Actually, I am afraid of Virginia Woolf"

Tavistock Square also has a cherry tree, planted in 1967 in memory of the dead of Hiroshima. Mr Monkey realised that, in London, anything relating to pacifism has to be put in Tavistock Square. Scampering around the outer path, he ran into a slightly unnerving bust of Virginia Woolf, who lived at number 52.

You can read about the peace memorials in Tavistock Square at the Peace Pledge Union Memorials for Peace website.
