Mr Monkey at Tavistock Square

"It's a magnificent collection of things the Egyptians left behind"

Mr Monkey ran round to University College london, where he went through a series of doors until he found the Petrie Museum. This is a vast collection of Egyptian archaeology, mostly collected by William Flinders Petrie, and displayed in an old stable. Part of the museum is so dark you can borrow a torch to avoid walking into things, but Mr Rik didn't notice the torches until Mr Monkey was on the way out.

You can read about the museum, and see the whole collection, at the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology website.
