Mr Monkey in New York, February 24

"It's pleasant decoration, but I'm not sure where the way out is"

There's a long concourse connecting the 4 & 5 lines with the 2 & 3 and A & C lines at the Fulton St - Broadway - Nassau subway station. Mr Monkey was scampering along this concourse when he found some tiled murals depicting scenes from the history of New York Harbour. These murals were designed by Fred Marsh in 1913 for the Marine Grill at the McAlpin Hotel, and were moved to the subway station in 2000.
