When Mr Monkey set out, he found that people had put out signs warning about ice left over from the cold weather of the night before. Icicles were giving in to gravity, and plunging into the street, so Mr Monkey had to move with great care. Scurrying along Pearl Street, he spotted a plaque commemorating the Pearl Street power station, built by Edison and productive from 1892 until 1895.
