On a cross street in the mid-seventies, between Lexington and Madison, Mr Monkey admired these fine houses. A sign said these were built in the first decade of the 20th century, and that they were opulent. Mr Monkey decided that he'd rather live in one of them, rather than the tenements in the East Side. He wasn't allowed into any these opulent homes, though.
